Hello, everyone! I have the honor to be this year’s immediate past president at JCI United. As every year, our aim is to work hard to contribute to our community and the rest of the JCI world while doing things which are entertaining and self-rewarding. JCI United is a great platform for projects you have always wanted to do! At the same time you will get to know great people from Finland and abroad. ROLE IN THE BOARD
As this year’s Deputy President at JCI United, by biggest role is to oversee chapter’s activities on internal and external levels as well as offer support in member acquisition, communications, events and workshops, project work etc. Keeping up a good vibe among full and prospective members is something I consider my personal task at JCI United! It will surely be a year of growth, new exciting challenges and opportunities for our chapter, our members and myself personally. I hope to see myself as this year’s guardian to all current and prospective members offering support, guidance and encouragement.

Hello, my name is Laura and this is my second year in JCI united. Before that I was a member of JCI Malmö.

My board position is IND (individual), which means my main responsibility is to take care of the jaycees personal growth. This includes eg. trainings, work shops and competitions.

Outside of JCI, I’m studying insurance science and risk management in the university of Tampere and working with sales.

As responsible for international affairs I am the contact for other international JCI chambers that want to get in contact with us. I inform members about upcoming international conferences and events and take care of twinning activities.

Responsible for sales and marketing for a laser manufacturer.

Sailing and flying.

I liked the people that I work with and their drive to improve the local community. JCI provides great opportunities to meet new people and work together on joint projects to advance our region further. Learning by doing and being able to make mistakes or gloriously succeed are great motivators to get active at JCI.

Hello, everybody! My name is Antti Lehtinen and I am this year’s Treas at JCI United.

I expect a lot of new stuff to happen in JCI United during 2019. I will be mostly taking care of our finances. I find everlasting development fascinating in all levels. In JCI United we aim to make a difference on the big scale, but meanwhile, people involved get also a chance to develop their own skills.

In the evenings I coach competitive swimmers.
